You can also find Komodo dragon habitats that roam freely on this island, but the numbers are not as many as on Komodo Island. One interesting thing is that the natural scenery of Rintja Island is amazingly beautiful. Once you enter this island, you will be treated to nature like in the movie Jurassic Park, wild and challenging at the same time. It’s very beautiful.
On Rinca Island, you can also take selfies because of the many beautiful photos and very pleasing spots to the eye. The surrounding small islands look exotic in the middle of the blue sea, which can be seen from the hills on Rintja Island.
CLIMBING THE EXOTISM OF PADAR ISLAND & GILI LAWA
One of the most favorite tourist destinations in Labuan Bajo is Padar Island. One word that describes the beauty of Padar Island: Epic! Padar Island is located not far from Rintja Island, only separated by the Leech Strait. As soon as the ship rests on the edge of Padar Island, you will be stunned by the surrounding scenery.
It’s not enough to stop there, you will be even more stunned and find a very unusually beautiful view after you trekking for about 15-30 minutes. The hill landscape with yellow grass colliding beautifully with the blue sea forms an amazing natural harmony. Tiredness after trekking with fairly steep terrain and full of sand will pay off once you get to the top of the hill on Padar Island.
With a view that has an exoticism no less epic than Padar Island, Gili Laba is also one of the favorite destinations for travelers. Actually, Gili Laba was more famous than Padar Island, but that does not reduce the characteristics of each of these destinations. Gili Laba, or often known as Gili Lawa, is filled with expanses of the savanna. This savanna will be green during the rainy season and will turn yellow when entering the dry season.
To enjoy the beauty of Gili Laba, you have to do trekking with a fairly long path, about 45 minutes to get to the top of the hill. But don’t worry, once you get to the top of this hill, you will be fascinated by the very natural view of the land of Flores. Gili Laba is also one of the best sunset locations in the Flores region.
SMALL SEBAYUR ISLAND
The next tourist destination in Labuan Bajo that you must visit is Sebayur Kecil Island which may not be as famous as other small islands around Labuan Bajo.
